South West SMEs performing well, says Cattles Invoice Finance
More than 50 per cent of SMEs in the South West have seen increased or static profits over the last 12 months, according to a survey by business finance provider, Cattles Invoice Finances.

HSBC launches new corporate banking website
HSBC has launched a new website dedicated to its corporate banking services for companies with a turnover between £25m and £750m.
The HSBC Corporate and Structured Banking website includes information on HSBC’s core corporate banking services and specialist services including leveraged finance, real estate, debt capital markets, corporate finance and advisory services and international services.

Science Museum bids for £50m of funding
The Science Museum’s Inspired project is one of six candidates bidding for £50m from the Big Lottery, to be voted for by the British public later this year via a televised vote. The funding is vital to secure Inspired’s future as a brand new type of interactive museum.

AML Manufacturing takes former Stralfors building
AML Manufacturing, a company which specialises in protective armour for personnel, vehicles and property, has taken the former Stralfors building at Dorcan, Swindon. The company, which employs around 50 people, have moved from Devizes and also has manufacturing activities on the Isle of Wight. The company provides body armour solutions, fibreglass mouldings and blast resistant systems such as vehicle floor pans and bins.
