Highcross has agreed three deals at its new Kembrey Trade Centre in Swindon, following a successful open day.
The transactions include the letting of Unit 14 to Dingmaster Ltd and the sale of Units 7 and 12 to telecommunications company, METS and BJS Fires and Fireplaces. Located on the prestigious Kembrey Business Park, the trade centre includes eighteen units, available on a freehold or leasehold basis.
Biag Serratore of BJS Fires and Fire Places, which has acquired Unit 12, was attracted by the location: “Kembrey Trade Centre is in one of the best trading locations in Swindon. Furthermore, the units themselves are built to an exceptionally high standard, something our customers have already commented on.”
Dingmaster Ltd, which specialises in paintless dent removal, has let Unit 14. According to managing director, Neil Carroll, the attractive environment and facilities were important factors: “The environment here is excellent and having the O’Brien’s sandwich bar so close is ideal and a real bonus for our staff and visitors.”
As well as the sale of Unit 7 to METS, Highcross has a further two units currently under offer. Nick Turner of Highcross comments: “I am pleased that the trade centre has been well received within the market. The recent open day on site was a success with a number of local occupiers and investors coming to have a look at the completed units. We expect a number of these enquiries to lead to further offers.”
Joint agents for the scheme are King Sturge and Loveday & Loveday. Matt King of King Sturge commented: “The units completed on time in May and the high quality design and build is attracting image conscious businesses. The location on the successful and established Kembrey Business Park is also an important draw for local businesses.”
As well as the new Kembrey Trade Centre, Highcross recently completed the development of the adjacent Pine Court office units. Comprising fifteen units, ranging from 1,130-2,013 sq ft, the offices are finished to a high quality and benefit from the Kembrey Park facilities, which include a Next Generation leisure club, 24-hour estate security and fully equipped meeting rooms for hire.
