Leading rural real estate advisers Smiths Gore has announced the opening of a new office located in Marlborough from 17 March. The office will be led by Jason Lewis formerly of Humberts.

Smiths Gore has an existing client base in Berkshire and is seeing increasing growth in rural surveying and farm management services in Wiltshire. The new office has been planned to cater for this increase in demand and complements existing offices in the region in Winchester, Cirencester and Taunton.

Jason Lewis joins Smiths Gore as a partner in Marlborough from Humberts where he was based in Salisbury. Jason has built his career in the South West with a focus on Wiltshire and Dorset.

Tom Brunt, associate farm management consultant, will transfer from Smiths Gore’s Winchester office to Marlborough to establish the firm’s farm management service in the region. A further two graduates and a graduate assistant will also relocate from Winchester to the new office.

Adrian Neal, lead partner for Smiths Gore’s Winchester office, responsible for the opening of the Marlborough office commented: “This new office is a key new location for us and shows the progression of our strategy for growth in this region. Jason’s experience and his market knowledge are exemplary. We are delighted to welcome him to our team.”
