Global company Google has placed an order with Corsham-based Linpac Environmental to supply its new Israeli offices with the Linpac Split Envirobin.

The Split Envirobin allows the customer to deposit two types of waste into separate containers in one bin. Linpac Environmental has been supplying the Split Envirobin to the Google offices in Buckingham Palace Road, London for the past 18 months.

Katie Green, marketing manager, said: “The Envirobin is the best-selling bin we have. It was the first of its type to be produced, and is discreet and streamlined as well as very stylish. It is so popular that we had to get new tools made at the end of 2007 just to keep up with demand.

“We understand that the Facilities Manager for Google Israel was visiting the London offices and saw our Envirobins and was so impressed they wanted some shipped out to them. We are delighted that our products will be exported to Israel for the first time.”

The 100-litre capacity Split Envirobin is made from UV stabilised MDPE and its features include a split waste-stream facility and a sack-retention element to keep the sack hidden.

Google has ordered two types of bin, one for recycling aluminium cans and paper cups and one for recycling glass and plastic. For more information on Linpac Environmental products call 01225 816500 or visit the website at www.linpac-environmental.com.
