A number of new lettings have been achieved at Shrivenham Hundred Business Park, supporting the theory that there has been an increase in inward investment into Swindon recently.
Andrew Cullen from surveyors Alder King said: “While there is the perception that property on Shrivenham Hundred is slow moving, a flurry of recent activity demonstrates the attraction of the location.
“Recent transactions include the expansion by hi-tech companies Technology International and Ashlea Components, who have taken Units 56 and 90 respectively.
“Furthermore new lettings have been secured by digital memory solutions company Catalus at Unit 4 and terrorist threat management consultancy Hazard Management Solutions at Unit 85-87.
“This take up totals around 15,000 sq ft, which shows that the market appreciates the benefits of the attractive modern low density business environment.”
Alder King property consultants has also begun to market a mid-terraced office building within Shrivenham Hundred Business Park.
Shrivenham Hundred Business Park is a well-established predominantly office campus to the east of Swindon which has matured over the years. Unit 54-55 is a mid-terrace property, providing 3,535 sq ft of modern office space arranged over two floors with the added benefit of a warehouse facility to the rear equating to 30 per cent of the floor space and 14 car parking spaces.
According to Andrew Cullen there is no other property within the business park that offers this combination of warehousing and office space. This unit would ideally suit occupiers who are looking for offices with storage under the same roof.
