Lasermax takes Groundwell unit

Swedish company Lasermax,the world's largest manufacturer of feeding, finishing, and monitoring systems for digital printers, has taken a 5,630 sq ft unit at Unit 2, Gemini House, Groundwell Industrial Estate, through agents Whitmarsh Lockhart and Kenningtons. The company has moved from the former Stralfors building in Swindon, and will handle and refurbish equipment.

Global property company invests in Swindon

Olive Tree International has purchased a two-storey, purpose-built office building at Stanton Court, South Marston Business Park, Swindon, with advice and support from Withy King Solicitors. It has relocated from rented office space, also at South Marston Business Park, which it outgrew in just 18 months. The company, which works with 50 associates, finished in the top three of the recent national NatWest Start Up Awards. With its clients investing more than £20m in properties in 12 different countries last year alone, Olive Tree International is on track to becoming the largest independent property distribution business in the UK.

AML Manufacturing takes former Stralfors building

AML Manufacturing, a company which specialises in protective armour for personnel, vehicles and property, has taken the former Stralfors building at Dorcan, Swindon. The company, which employs around 50 people, have moved from Devizes and also has manufacturing activities on the Isle of Wight. The company provides body armour solutions, fibreglass mouldings and blast resistant systems such as vehicle floor pans and bins.
