RSM International, the worldwide audit, tax and consulting network of independent firms, has enhanced its international representation by admitting Bentley Jennison, one of the most progressive and fast growing professional services firms in the UK.  Bentley Jennison, which was recently awarded “Large Firm of the Year” by Accountancy Age, opened its Swindon office in 1994. The firm and the Swindon office have grown rapidly year-on-year; nationally the turnover of £63.7m and offices in 14 UK cities.

Bentley Jennison will formally join RSM International on 21 August 2007 having successfully completed RSM’s comprehensive due diligence process. This admission reinforces RSM's position as the seventh largest global accounting network. To be known as RSM Bentley Jennison, the Firm replaces RSM International's previous UK member Robson Rhodes, which was acquired by Grant Thornton earlier this year.

In April, the RSM Executive Office team conducted a full analysis of firms in the UK market. Several discussions were held before they identified Bentley Jennison as the optimum choice based on the Firm’s commitment to quality in service delivery, their progressive organisational culture and what RSM International perceived to be an unrivalled ability to grow and lead the RSM brand in the UK and Europe.

Bentley Jennison has strong audit and international tax capabilities, combined with particular focus and experience in providing risk management and internal audit services. The Firm is one of the largest providers of advisory services to the UK public sector and nationally recognised as a preferred adviser to owner-managed businesses and their owners.

Bentley Jennison has doubled in size every four years since it was founded in 1984, with total fee income of £63.7m last year. Its clients range across both the public and corporate sectors and include blue chip and international names such as Selfridges, easyJet, Westminster City Council, the Turkish Government, and the Polish Government. The Firm has an extensive national presence in the UK market, with 14 offices nationwide.

Jean Stephens, chief executive officer, RSM International, commented: "Bentley Jennison's focus on quality, its phenomenal growth record, and experience in providing cross-border services to clients fits perfectly with the RSM vision, brand and values. The Firm shares our strategic vision to be the partner and adviser to growing and ambitious international companies."
