Two units have been sold at the recently completed first phase of the Ergo development at Greenbridge in Swindon.
Jayne Rixon, partner at Burston Cook in Bristol, which is marketing the development, said: “Financial investment company TQDDPS has purchased a 2,699 sq ft office building on a 125-year lease, and design and printing company Kall Kwik has purchased a 2,106 sq ft business unit on a 125-year lease.
“That’s a great start and there is strong interest in a number of other units on the scheme. Without doubt the emphasis on high quality, high-specification design is attracting interest. There is nothing like Ergo available in the region.”
The Ergo scheme, being developed by MacNiven Quays, comprises of 22 self-contained office, business and industrial units for sale or to let.
Phase One consists of five offices, two business units and an industrial unit with Phase Two comprising of six more business and eight industrial units scheduled for completion later this year.
Alex Hunt of developer MacNiven Quays said: “This emphasis on a high quality product is fundamental to our philosophy in developing Ergo, and is what sets the business park apart from anything else currently under development in Swindon.”
In another deal, Loveday and Loveday, acting on behalf of La Salle Investments, has secured another office letting within the popular Copse Farm office scheme at South Marston Park. Suite 1, which measures approximately 1,200 sq ft and offers four car spaces, has been let to Sports Solutions GB.
Bradley Forbes of Loveday and Loveday said: “This is the third letting for the scheme we have achieved in the last two months and underlines Copse Farm and South Marston Park as a popular office location for tenants seeking quality space with good access to the M4 motorway.”
