Buildstore finds home at Lydiard Fields Archive index | Front page

Acting on behalf of HBG Properties, King Sturge has announced the first letting at Lydiard Fields Business Park, Swindon.

Buildstore currently occupy the huge 67,000 sq ft of former warehouse and office accommodation adjacent to Lydiard Fields which it has turned into The National Self Build & Renovation Centre.

Buildstore has made the decision to occupy the 5,751 sq ft second floor in Kingston House for additional office space. The scheme, constructed by HBG Properties completed its first phase of development at the Lydiard site with the construction of Canberra and Kingston House, offering Grade A office accommodation with excellent communication links.

Tim Doherty of Buildstore said: “We required further office accommodation to support our fast expansion and to be recognised as the market leader on self build and renovation. Kingston House offers the ideal space for our expansion and is within walking distance of our existing premises; therefore it was the obvious choice for us.”

Martin Hill of HBG Properties said: “The occupation by BuildStore will take place early in 2007 and we are pleased to welcome them as our first tenants.”

Jeremy Sutton of King Sturge added: “We are very encouraged by the level of interest in the remaining space at Lydiard Fields and anticipate that HBG will commence the next phase of development during 2007.”

King Sturge act as joint agents at Lydiard Fields Business Park with GVA Grimley.
