Bright start for the commercial office market

Following the successful disposal of Suite 23 Cherry Orchard North, Kembrey Park, Whitmarsh Lockhart announced the recent letting of Fairview House to Farleigh Schools on behalf of Tithegrove.

The subject property comprised a Grade II listed office building which was finished to a modern office specification. The building measured 3,033 sq ft and also had the benefit of parking for approximately 13 cars to the rear of the building.

Farleigh Schools have taken a new occupational lease agreement and the quoting rent was £12, per sq ft per annum exclusive.

Daniel Smethurst, head of the Whitmarsh Lockhart Office Department said: “This is a fantastic start to the New Year and we are delighted to have concluded this complex transaction.

“Swindon, Old Town has proved itself once again to be a popular and established location with the benefits of numerous cafés, restaurants, bars and specialist shops, making this one of Swindon’s most vibrant areas. We would like to take this opportunity to wish Farleigh Schools every success in their new premises.”

Whitmarsh Lockhart has also let space at Unit 3, Wroughton Business Park.

Unit 3 was the last remaining unit available to let and has been let to Ace Transport on a new 3 year lease agreement. Ace Transport operate a light haulage and storage business.  For further information please contact Ace Transport on 07799 308413.

Tom Warne of the industrial agency department of Whitmarsh Lockhart commented “It is fantastic news that Unit 3 has been let as it means that the Estate is now full, proving just how popular Wroughton Business Park is.”
