The former Great Eastern House office building has been sold to Abbey Developments for a new residential scheme of 134 two bedroom flats and nine one bedroom flats.

As part of the planning permission the developers will be making significant financial contributions towards the provision of off-site open space, highways, educational and art facilities. Whitmarsh Lockhart acted as agent for the vendor, UGC.

Acting on behalf of Coats Property Management, Whitmarsh Lockhart has let Unit 18 Hargreaves Road, Groundwell to Brownhills on a new five-year lease. The property comprises 11,861 sq ft.
