A South West recruitment consultancy is helping to fight back against unfair

bank charges by recruiting staff for a company that challenges financial

institutions who are acting inappropriately.

Renaissance Endowment Review Services was set up in 2004 to help customers  with endowment complaints. A specialist claims management firm based in Swindon, the company has a current client base of over 11,000 and has won over £16m for their clients.

Enlisting the help of SJC Recruitment & Training to appoint key personnel, they are now fighting back against unfair bank charges which have seen considerable publicity recently.

Bank and credit card companies are coming under increasing scrutiny for their policy on charges. It has been estimated that the banks charge £1.3bn each year in excess charges. Banks are unable by law to make a profit out of customer’s misfortune and Renaissance Endowment Review Services are helping clients recoup unfair charges from their banks.

Andy Humphries, managing director at Renaissance said: “At Renaissance we pride ourselves on our professionalism and as importantly the level of customer service. As such it was vital for us to enlist the help of SJC, an experienced recruitment consultancy to draw in the best possible candidates for our company.”

Darren Cuthbert, office manager with Renaissance added: “As specialists in our own profession, we are pleased to be working with SJC Recruitment and Training to utilise their expertise to ensure we get our recruitment spot on.”

SJC Recruitment and Training, are assisting in the fight against unfair bank charges by recruiting administrators and customer services personnel for the company. The new members of the team will be helping to deal with the hefty amount of paperwork and calls involved.

Vicky Smith, director of SJC Recruitment and Training’s Swindon office, said: “We are delighted to be working with Renaissance. They are making a huge difference in their fight for people against unfair charges and SJC is proud to be able to support this”.
